I work across the
hardware–software boundary.

I'm a final-year B.Tech ECE student (AI & ML specialization) at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. My internships have been in embedded systems & robotics — building computer-vision and hand-gesture perception for robotic control — and in optical fibre communication.

I work on both sides of the boundary: firmware bring-up on ESP8266/Arduino-class microcontrollers, sensor and GPIO interfacing, and Python-based test automation and data analysis. I like designing structured, layered systems and then proving them out — unit tests with mocked interfaces, dry-run modes, controlled experiment matrices, reproducible pipelines.

Alongside that I founded ScaleUp Marketing, a digital agency serving local businesses across Visakhapatnam, and led marketing for Shore Fest — a university festival that drew 11,000+ attendees.

AI/ML Intern — Embedded Systems & Robotics

  • Built image-processing and computer-vision pipelines for real-time hand-gesture recognition, translating detected gestures into control commands for robotic systems.
  • Owned the perception stack end to end — frame capture, preprocessing, hand detection, gesture classification — tuning confidence thresholds against live video rather than recorded clips.
  • Integrated the vision layer with the robot's embedded control path so recognised gestures triggered physical actuator behaviour on hardware, debugging latency and false-trigger issues that surfaced only once perception met real hardware.
  • Bench-tested recognition across varying lighting, hand distance and orientation to characterise failure modes, and contributed to build systems and integration workflow for the robotics team.

Leadership

Lead of Marketing — Shore Fest

  • Led a cross-functional team across Design, Media, PR & Outreach and Tech for one of the university's largest cultural & sports festivals.
  • Planned and executed multi-channel campaigns — performance marketing, social, email, on-ground — that drove over 11,000 student attendees.
  • Managed the official Shore Fest website via a dedicated tech team, ensuring real-time updates and reliable uptime during peak event traffic.
  • Coordinated PR outreach, brand partnerships and influencer collaborations to maximise event visibility.

Telecom

Optical Engineer Intern

  • Hands-on exposure to optical fibre communication and live telecom infrastructure at a national carrier's Visakhapatnam operations.
  • Worked alongside field engineers on fibre splicing, cable laying and network maintenance procedures on deployed links.
  • Observed fault-isolation and link-verification practice on production optical networks, connecting classroom communication theory to physical-layer reality.

Founder

Founder — ScaleUp Marketing

  • Founded and independently operate a digital agency serving local businesses across Visakhapatnam — owning client delivery, timelines and reporting end to end.
  • Built and managed websites, e-commerce pages and social handles for multiple clients, handling content creation, distribution and Meta Ads campaigns.

NodeMCU ESP8266 — IR Obstacle Detection Node

Firmware for the NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E) on the Arduino framework via PlatformIO: an IR obstacle sensor on D1 driving a GPIO LED indicator on D2, with a non-blocking 1 Hz heartbeat and a sensor-triggered solid-ON override. Detection polarity is parameterised by a single constant so the same build re-validates against active-low and active-high sensor modules.

EdgeHive — Perception Edge Node

The camera/perception layer of EdgeHive: real-time object detection on live video with bounding boxes, class labels, per-class counts and on-screen FPS. The detector sits behind a source-agnostic detect(frame) → event interface, so the same module runs against webcam, video file or RTSP input without code changes.

Breast Cancer FFNN — Regularization Test Matrix

A feedforward net for benign vs. malignant classification on the UCI WDBC dataset, with a controlled 2×2 optimizer × loss comparison (SGD/Adam × MSE/BCE). Adam+BCE converged in 31 epochs at 99.12% test accuracy and 0.9944 AUC-ROC. Packaged as a modular pipeline that regenerates every plot, metric and the written report in one command.

RedRob — AI Candidate Ranking Engine

A 7-stage ranking pipeline — parsing, feature extraction, skill matching, experience scoring, weighted aggregation, ranking, reporting — with a multi-factor scoring engine whose weights are tunable independently of pipeline logic. Each stage is an isolated, independently testable module.

CryptoBot CLI — Binance Futures Trading Bot

A strict 4-layer architecture (Client → Orders → Validator → CLI) with HMAC-signed REST calls, 3× exponential backoff on 5xx errors and rotating log files for post-run fault tracing. Ships a dry-run mode, full input validation on symbol/stepSize/tickSize/balance, and unit tests with mocked HTTP at 91% coverage.
